Catholic Schools Week
Each January we celebrate being a Catholic School. We focus on why being a Catholic School is special. We have many activities, some educational, others service orientated, some social; all fun.
Track and Field Day
We celebrate the end of the school year with an extremely fun day of Track and field. The students are divided up into teams, and have fun competitions against other teams. This is run by Mrs. Jeri Gilfillan.
American Heritage Girls
Our school has American Heritage Girls which are run by parents.
School in the Park (5th - 8th)
We celebrate the end of the school year with another extremely fun day of School in the Park for the upper grades. The students are divided up into teams and do four events led by each upper-grade teacher. Cold Lunch is mandatory on that day. The eighth-graders also have a fun water gun fight to celebrate their last moments at BSS. Eighth grade is also allowed to bring and ride their bikes, while the rest walk to Idlewood Park (0.6 miles from school grounds).
